Swish Dish Visit
At the end of Term 1 our Year 3 & 4 classes went to Petone to visit Swish Dish. We painted up a really cool egg cups.
First up we chose the colours we were going to use. The colours look really dull before they are fired,so the colour tile gave us an indication of what they would look like. We were concentrating very hard.
We had to make
sure we did three coats.Check out our cool designs.
We can't wait for them to be fired in the kiln and be bright and shiny.
Seeing it was a cracker day when Room 12 went theydecided to spend the
afternoon at Petone Beach.
Each group made a fantastic sandman, showing all the body parts we have learnt about.
And just because we are tidy kiwis we thought we'd do some environmental duty.
