CAPITAL E THEATRE TRIP.


On Friday the 20th of March the Year 5 and 6 team saw three live performances in three awesome theatres in Wellington.  It was a long and boring bus ride, we talked, sung happy birthday to Mr Merrick, took some photos and saw lots of Wellington buildings.

First we watched Kia Ora Khalid, then Luminous Edge and last of all The Petting Zoo.  The Kia Ora Khalid show was an opera and it was about four people who were talking about their refugee families.  There were adults and children performing in the show.


Luminous Edge was about a wizard who could juggle and had a master called Ossie.  Jade, Andrew and Joanna got picked out to go up and do stuff.  It was awesome because the man did really cool juggling tricks - that was the best show, well we thought so.


Lucky last, The Petting Zoo, was about dinosaurs.  The sizes were small, medium and really big!  The guy who ran the show had messy hair and told pretty random jokes!  Mr Merrick, Kaylah and Joanna got to pat the dinosaurs.  Mr Merrick got to pat a  medium sized one and Kaylah go to pat a big one.


That was a really cool day.
