The Cricket Tournament
On Tuesday the 23rd
of March 18 children and 4 adults walked to Ngati Toa domain to compete in the
Parumoana cricket tournament.
We set off to the
domain after the roll. When we got
there, all of the other schools were sitting down so we sat down beside them. The organiser of
the tournament called out which teams were playing each other. 1 of our teams
started playing Plimmerton and the other team played against Papakowhai. We
won against Papakowhai and got thrashed by Plimmerton. Score 3 - 60 to them.
Next we had a
snack and then played the next game. Both teams played discovery and both teams
lost.
After that game we
left and walked back to school. Overall I think everyone had a good day.
