For Dancesplash 2010, the senior school were lucky enough to have two girls, Kristin and Hayley, to choreograph our dance. They had been students of Paremata School last year, and they offered to help out. They have spent a lot of their spare time with us helping us learn and practice our dance before, during and after school as well as during the weekends to get our performance looking perfect.
Basically the theme for this year's dance was a nightmare. At the start I would fall asleep, and people would come and breathe over me. After that Jade would do a solo dance. She and I were dressed up in the same costumes as she was me in my dream.
After Jade's dance, the puppets would come on with their puppet masters. Then it was my dance. In that I was waking up and inviting everyone to come on and dance with me. We ended the dance with everyone on stage taking a bow to the music. Dancesplash was a great opportunity and I am definitely looking forward to having another go next year.
