Paremata School

Unfortunately the weather did not allow it to be an outdoor evening but we all fitted in the hall. Children, family and friends brought along their picnic dinners, there was a craft table so the children made lovely Christmas decorations throughout the evening and then the singing began.

Each syndicate came up on stage and sang a Christmas song, Year 3/4 got the evening going with Jingle Bell Rock, followed by Year 5/6 with Snoopy's Christmas. Kylie and her guitar group did several songs that we all sang along with. Then some of the teachers and Mums lead the rest of the singing from the stage. Year 1/2 finished the evening with a rousing We Wish You A Merry Christmas!

It was a hugely successful evening, everyone sang along and went home full of Christmas cheer.
