I have been teaching for the last 30 years, 10 of these at Paremata.
I have also taught in two Porirua schools, Windley and Holy Family and at Yat Sen Chinese School in Suva. I had a little time working at Mana Education Centre. My 3 children have all had their primary education at Paremata and my family have had a very positive association with the school for the last 23 years.

General Information

I grew up on a farm in Southland, before heading to Dunedin to study.
I moved to Wellington at the beginning of 2007 to teach at Paremata School. I spent 18 months living and teaching in London during 2009-2010. I was lucky enough to travel to some amazing places while I was there. It is great to be back at Paremata, 2012 is going to be a great year!

General Information

Talofa everyone, its awesome to be part of the 'family' here at Paremata School, I am a proud husband and father to my four boys, three who are already here at Paremata School and look forward to my fourth starting in July this year. I have taught for 6 years at Windley school in Porirua as a year 7 & 8 teacher and as a new staff member here to the school, it's been fantastic to have met some of the parents already and most of the children who have been lovely from day one. I look forward to this year and have an open door policy to welcome anyone wanting to come in for a visit and chat ... don't forget the biscuits please. Fa'afetai lava

General Information

I've taught at Paremata on and off since 2004 (Years 7/8 & 3/4). I have been with the Year 5/6 team for the past 2 years and I really enjoy this age group. My husband is in the Army and I have one child in Year 13. Any suggestions to encourage the 19 year-old to go flatting gratefully accepted.
