I have been teaching for the last 30 years, 10 of these at Paremata. I have also taught in two Porirua schools, Windley and Holy Family and at Yat Sen Chinese School in Suva. I had a little time working at Mana Education Centre. My 3 children have all had their primary education at Paremata and my family have had a very positive association with the school for the last 23 years.

I grew up on a farm in Southland, before heading to Dunedin to study. I moved to Wellington at the beginning of 2007 to teach at Paremata School and I absolutely love it! Bring on 2009!

B.Sc. Honours Degree in Pure & Applied Ecology and Post Graduate Certificate in Education, from The University of Sheffield, England.

I started teaching in 1995 and since that time I've worked in a range of primary and secondary schools. I have also managed an arts-in-education development agency, worked as a visual artist and been a field ecologist. I moved to New Zealand in 2005.

Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology. Post-Graduate Diploma of Teaching.

I was trained in New Zealand. I've been teaching for 11 years now - 2 of those at Paremata School. I taught for 6 years in London and have brought the best of what I learned back with me.
