BSocSc &Post Grad Diploma of Teaching
I first joined the Paremata team working part time as a teacher aide when my daughter started at the school as a new entrant. I realised I was onto a good thing, went to Wellington College of Education to train as a primary teacher and came back to teach at Paremata. I've been teaching in the junior team since 2004.

Bachelor of Arts Mathematics, Certificate for Teacher Aides, Post-Graduate Diploma of Teaching
I completed my degree and teacher aide certificate through Massey University and my Post-Graduate Diploma of Teaching through Wellington College of Education. In 2004, I undertook my last teaching practice at Paremata School and I was thrilled to begin my teaching career here in 2005. Since then I have undertaken a year of Reading Recovery Training and I have taught New Entrants, Year 1s and Year 2s.

BEd - Early Years
I rediscovered a love for learning after having my 2 fantastic children and went back to school to retrain in teaching. I play the flute (sometimes) and I am really enjoying my time at Paremata School, with my amazing class of new entrant and year 1 learners.

Hello!
My name is Beth Brady and I will be teaching room 4 this year.
Just to briefly outline my background.
I grew up in Ngaio, Wellington and have spent most of my life there.
I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Victoria University majoring in education and geography, and have a Graduate Diploma of Teaching.
At college I played netball and rowed, competing in many competitions around New Zealand.
I am currently a surf lifesaver at the Titahi Bay Surf Lifesaving Club.
Last year I returned from Europe where I lived in Milan, Italy privately teaching two Italian children the English language and after, travelled around other European countries.
I'm looking forward to teaching this year!
