Paremata School

Parents/caregivers - there are many ways you can help

Shifts on the day are only 2 1/2 hours long, if you have any questions please contact the gala  on paremataschoolpta@gmail.com for more details. Ideally we need a total of 120 people to run a complete day's gala.  See available positions here: http://www.paremata.school.nz/3631/forms/6-helper-spots-available/

Helping on a stall on the day

There are 2 shifts (allowing for changover) on each stall.

Shift one 10.45am - 1.00pm
Shift two 12.45pm - 3.15pm

Along with our appreciation, you'll also get an invite to the after-gala party, which takes place after clean-up is finished. A helper prize raffle will also be drawn them too.

GALA SPONSORSHIP
Do you have a business that could offer a service? Do you sell products that you might like to donate? Talk to the Gala Committee to help towards our Silent Auctions or Live ‘Spin the Wheel’ Raffles on the day.
Maybe you would like to sponsor a stall OR to cover the costs of a bouncy castle. Possibly cover the costs of bacon or drinks at the BBQ?  Display your companies sign right alongside the event for the whole day.  Reducing our up-front costs allows the biggest amount of profit for the school. Contact: paremataschoolPTA@gmail.com Full details on sponsorship here: www.paremata.school.nz/3631/forms/5-gala-sponsorship-2021/submissions/new

Crafty Request
Do you have off cuts of material you could donate to the school?  Be it cotton, felt, ribbon or other.  We are looking to make craft items for our gala earlier in the year – rather than rushing things late in term3 for our Sat 30 October Gala.  Items can be dropped to the school office in term 2.
*Would you like to join a team of crafters & prepare some items at home in your own time?
*Are you a crafty person yourself and have some items to donate?
*Are you handy with wood or concrete and like creating items that way?
Please get in touch with paremataschoolPTA@mail.com.  Thanks the Gala Committee.
