To ParentLink (pta) 2017

ParentLink (PTA) is currently a small number of parents and a couple of members of staff, who make up the core group.  Any Paremata School community person(s) may join at any time - we are always looking for more members.  The role includes:

Providing a link between home and school


Developing a sense of community among people involved with the school


Supporting the school's programmes with fundraising events



Not only is it a meeting, but an info evening for any Mums, Dads or Grandparents who have thought about helping towards our School in some way. Come along for a cuppa and nibbles and find out more about what ParentLink does.

Have a chat with the current members and the two teachers who attend these meetings. A great chance to ask any questions you may have too. The meetings are held in the staff room twice a term on a Wednesday evening.

Role of the ParentLink

Paremata School's Parent Teacher Association was resurrected in February 2009, after a period of being inactive. 

We are a group of 6 parents and 2 members of staff, who make up the core group of ParentLink. 

The role includes: 

  • providing a link between home and school
  • developing a sense of community among people involved with the school
  • supporting the school's programmes with fundraising events.
