At the heart of the celebration is our Book Fair. This year, our theme is “Book Fair Garden: Catch the Reading Bug”—a place where stories bloom, imaginations grow, and the love of reading spreads like sunshine.

Stroll through our Reading Patch, a buzzing haven for young book lovers. Here, students can weave their way through a storyleaf through exciting new booksand spin into an adventure that will inspire them to keep reading.

The shelves will be swarming with stories for every kind of reader. From silly tales that will make you giggle like a grasshopper to thrilling adventures that spin webs of suspense, there’s something for every busy bookworm. Whether you enjoy heroic quests, magical mysteries, hilarious comics, or fascinating facts, you’ll find stories that stick with you and spark your imagination.

Students are encouraged to share the excitement by inviting parents, grandparents, and family members to visit the Book Fair too. Together, families can explore a hive of page-turning treasures, dig up new favourites, and branch out with books they might not have tried before, and share conversations about the stories that inspire them.

The Scholastic Book Fair is also a wonderful opportunity to support our school while growing home libraries. All purchases go towards raising reward points that we use to add new books to our school library.

Together we can plant the seeds of a lifelong love of reading. When children discover books they love, their confidence grows and their imaginations blossom.

Come and bug out with books! Wander thro
ugh our garden of books,
get caught in a good book and branch out with books you might not have tried before.

Let the Reading Bug bite—because great stories plant ideas and help minds grow. This week is about more than just reading—it’s about building a community of learners who celebrate stories, adventure, and imagination.

Let’s grow readers together!

Catch you in the Reading Patch!
