ParentLink (PTA) is a team of parents along witha couple of staff members. Any Paremata School community person(s) may join at any time - as we are always looking for more members, especially with kids in year 1 - 4 classes. Because we all know many hands can make light work.
The role includes:
Parents have made good friends by joining the ParentLink team, plus they have fun arranging events for the school community - like the new families afternoon tea, pancake breakfast, school disco, summer sports evening, Spring Gala and Christmas carols night.
Not only that but events for the wider community, like quiz nights, chocolate bingo, movie nights and author's evenings.
We currently have available school hoodies and suburb tea towels which also assist with profit back to the school. See the office/online shop for more details.
The meetings are held in the staffroom twice a term on a Thursday evening.

The extra funds raised are used by the school towards your children during their time at school. For things like: technology in the classroom, upgrading both the junior & senior playgrounds, Kapa Haka uniforms and transport to events plus improving the environment with bbq tables and more. Making this school the best that it can be.
