General Information

I have been teaching for a few years now. I graduated from Wellington College of Education and completed my registration in Wellington. I then travelled throughout Europe and taught in London for over six years.

On return to Wellington NZ, I taught across the school years in different schools in the greater Wellington region. I returned to part time teaching to enable me to spend time with my two sons. I love teaching and being part of seeing the children grow, learn and have fun.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching and my passions are in Literacy and in The Arts. I am so looking forward to another year at Paremata School and to be part of a positive and supportive community.

General Information

I have been teaching for 26 years now in various roles. I graduated from RMIT in Melbourne, Australia. and had my first full time position at Titahi Bay North School in Wellington. Previously I relieved in primary schools and was an education guide at Melbourne Art Gallery before heading to NZ where I had a 1 year mathematics role at Rongotai College.

I was fortunate at TBNS to be offered management positions, which I loved. In 2007 I had my 1st daughter Mia and returned to relieving. This enabled me to see my own children, Mia and Loren, grow but still be able to do what I love, teaching.

My passions are in Visual Arts and I enjoy watching the students faces light up when they've completed a unique piece. I am looking forward to another year at Paremata School with positive, hard working staff and friendly, enthusiastic students.
